Manohar Bance is an Otologist/Neurotologist and clinician-scientist at the University of Cambridge and is an honorary Consultant at the Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust. He is the inaugural Professor of Otology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Cambridge, UK since 2017. Prior to that he was Head of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University in Canada
He also directs the Sensory Engineering and Sensory Encoding (SENSE lab at the University of Cambridge
He has published over 250 peer reviewed papers, and multiple book chapters.
Prof Bance is Past President of the RSM Section of Otology, Past Chair of the British Cochlear Implant Group and recipient of a life-time achievement award from the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
